
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: When the Prophet (peacebeuponhim) wished to alleviate himself, he would not raise his dress, until he reduced himself near the ground.

After that I saw him facing it (qiblah) urinating or reducing himself one year before his death. Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet of Allah (peacebeuponhim) forbade us to face the qiblah at the time of producing water. So I mentioned: AbuAbdurRahman, has this not really been forbidden? He replied: Why not really, that was forbidden just in open up country but when there is something between you and the qiblah that conceals you, then there is definitely no harm. Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: Marwan al-Asfar mentioned: I noticed Ibn Umar make his camel kneel lower dealing with the qiblah, after that he sitting down urinating in its path. Narrated Ma'qil ibn AbuMa'qil al-Asadi: The Apostle of Allah (peacebeuponhim) has forbidden us to face the two qiblahs at the time of urination or excretion. He provides forbidden us to face the qiblah at the time of reducing or urinating, and cleansing with right hands, and cleaning with less than three gemstones, or cleaning with dung or bone tissue. Narrated Salman al-Farsi: It had been stated to Salman: Your Prophet shows you everything, actually about excrement. So when anyone amongst you goes now there, he should say: 'I seek refuge in Allah from masculine and feminine devils.' Narrated Zayd ibn Arqam: The Apostle of Allah (peacebeuponhim) stated: These privies are usually frequented by the jinns and devils. He (the Prophet) after that mentioned: If any of you desires to urinate, he should look for a location (like this) for his urination.

Then he emerged to a gentle terrain at the foot of a wall structure and urinated.

In reply AbuMusa had written to him saying: One day time I was in the company of the Apostle of Allah (peacebeuponhim).

As a result Ibn Abbas had written to him asking him about certain stuff. Narrated AbuMusa: AbutTayyah reported on the authority of a shaykh (an old man): When Abdullah ibn Abbas came to Basrah, individuals narrated to him traditions from AbuMusa. Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: When the Prophet (peacebeuponhim) felt the want of reducing himself, he proceeded to go considerably off where no one could observe him. Narrated Mughirah ibn Shu'bah: When the Prophet (peacebeuponhim) went (outside) to alleviate himself, he proceeded to go to a far-off location.
